AI prediction only · not affiliated with PSA or CGC · for informational use
No shipping. No waiting weeks. The whole grading lab fits inside your camera app.
Live camera only. Four to eight photos — front, back, edges, corners — with on-screen overlay guides and automatic blur + lighting checks.
A vision model inspects centering, corners, edges and surface, then checks authenticity — holo pattern, typography, color and pixelation.
A cinematic reveal unlocks your digital slab — grade badge, sub-scores, live market value, and a shareable certificate image.
The same three-phase animation that plays in the app: a sweep across your card, a forensic analysis pass, and a slab reveal. Not a loading spinner — a moment.
Every photo is decomposed frame by frame — centering ratios, surface microtexture, edge whitening, corner sharpness, holo integrity.
A vision model cross-checks the card against known authentics — typography, font rendering, color accuracy, and holographic pattern structure.
The digital slab assembles live. Grade, sub-scores, confidence level and market value all land in a single cinematic reveal.
A weighted 10-point system modeled on PSA and CGC methodology. Sub-scores roll up into an overall grade — you see every number behind the verdict.
Left/right and top/bottom border ratio analysis. Perfect 50/50 on both axes scores a clean 10.0.
All four corners inspected for whitening, rounding, and soft wear. Pixel-level sharpness detection at print-scale.
Nicks, peeling, wear lines, and factory-cut consistency across all four sides. Full perimeter scan.
Scratches, print lines, holo damage, staining. Subtle imperfections flagged even at oblique angles.

No. CardEx Studio gives you an AI-predicted grade using the same methodology PSA and CGC publish, but it is not an official or certified grade. Think of it as a pre-grading tool that helps you decide whether to spend the money on professional grading.
Accuracy depends heavily on photo quality — the app enforces blur, brightness, and card-fill checks before it lets you submit. When photos are clean, sub-grades land within ~0.5 of professional graders in internal testing. Every grade is published alongside a confidence level (High / Medium / Low).
The free tier gives you three lifetime grades, no card required. You can also buy one-off grade packs (10 / 25 / 50 grades) at any tier without committing to a subscription.
Card photos are uploaded to encrypted storage for grading and are kept with your grading report so you can reference it later. You can delete any grading report at any time, which wipes the associated photos. Profile photos and collection images follow the same rule.
Yes. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID — you can cancel in iOS Settings at any time. No minimum term. No cancellation fee. Founder Edition is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
The marketplace is on the roadmap but is not shipping at initial launch. When it opens, AI-graded cards will carry a "Certified" badge and sellers will be able to list with their grading reports attached.
